That's what I idea. It doesn't practice that for EDGE though. I know because I was searching for a specific ingredient in a wellness supplement on a site that I knew had a product containing that ingredient and no search results were returned. I did the same enquiry on Chrome and plant the product I was looking for. It would be great to take this functionality on EDGE also!

Border and Chrome are browsers, not search providers. This is non a browser issue. Not every page of every site can be searched but these two searches will work in Edge or Chrome or Firefox. They're not browser dependent.
https://www.bing.com/search?q=site%3Amicrosoft.com+windows+millennium
https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Amicrosoft.com+windows+millennium
If yous go to www.google.com or www.bing.com and search for this
site:microsoft.com windows millennium
you will get the aforementioned results regardless of the browser beingness used.
If you get dissimilar results with Chrome and Edge, you're using different search providers or not doing the exact, same search.
